Kitty Tatman - Studio Manager
Kitty keeps Catamount running smoothly, making sure our clients' studio business is always handled in a friendly, professional manner. From scheduling, to guiding our masters through the CD replication "mine fields", she helps minimize distractions for our artists, engineers, and producers. As a result our recording sessions are more efficient, creative and productive. Kitty is a C.P.A. and has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa. |

Tom Tatman - Producer, Chief Engineer
Tom founded Catamount Recording with Rick Bisbey, in 1979. Since then he has produced, engineered and mixed nearly 300 albums. Dozens that have been on nationally distributed labels including Stone Sour's Grammy nominated debut album.(See discography) Over the course of his career, he has earned the respect of prominent recording artists throughout the Midwest, and many other parts of the country. Tom's production experience and engineering skills offer our clients the opportunity to make nationally competetive albums on relatively modest budgets (See press) |

Travis Huisman - Engineer,
Mastering Engineer
Travis attended McNally-Smith School Of Music in St. Paul, MN where he earned a degree in the recording arts. Travis is a highly skilled producer/engineer, who can best be described as a rising star in this area. He has been at Catamount since 2004 and masters virtually all of our final product, as well as projects that were tracked and mixed elsewhere. His outstanding abilities and easy-going personality have made him a valuable asset at Catamount. |

Rick Bisbey - Technical Director
A founding partner in Catamount Recording, Rick has been the most respected electronics tech in the area for the last 25 years. He designed and built our first recording console in 1979, and refurbished the Neotek console we used from 1989-2003. He handles the day to day maintanence of the 56 input Solid State Logic console that is currently in service. Rick has restored the studio's vintage guitar amp collection to original specifications, and keeps all of the studio's delicate recording equipment in good repair, calibrated for optimal sonic quality. Electronic maintenance is always critical at a pro studio. Rick delivers this service at Catamount with a competence rarely found in recording facilities at any level. |
